Last Friday George and I traveled with the Peach Bus on the Jordan Extension. We left the Olive Tree Hotel at 7:30 a.m. for the 45 minute ride to the border. The crossing on both sides went very smoothly with no problems. Our Jordanian Bus Driver met us just outside the Border Control Building for Israel and drove us across the actual border where our Jordanian Guide met us and took care of all the necessary paper work and visas.

We were off to Mt. Nebo shortly, and then to Madaba where the famous ancient mosaic Map is located. Then on to Jerash for a tour of that fabulous ancient city. Here the weather changed and we had a little rain, but it didn't stop us from seeing the wonderful ruins there. We reached our hotel, the Regency Palace about 5 p.m. for a rest before dinner.
